OUR GOAL

We believe that one of the best ways to bridge the gap between inaccessibility and accessibility to technology is by building connection and community through a peer-to-peer structure that links resources to needs, and encourages compassion in the process. A structure that places equal importance on education and awareness, and action.

BYOD IN NEW ZEALAND

New Zealand schools are requiring students to adapt to a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) styled form of learning. Whilst many students do have access to quality devices, some students are left without.

In our research, we have found that people aged 18-25 spend a considerable amount of time per day allocated to time on screens, which goes to show that devices play a large role in New Zealander’s lives. In turn it is not surprising that BYOD is slowly starting to become the norm via the continued integration of technology into our lives.
